Introduction to Sailing = 3 hour tour to try out sailing

Start Keelboat Lessons = 16 hours over one weekend, CREW TRAINING, 100% on water lessons.

Basic Sailing Lessons = 32 hours over 2 weekends, weekdays, or evenings. SKIPPER TRAINING, 70% on water, 30% theory.

Basic/Intermediate = 7 days live-a-board on a 43ft boat in the BVIs, in the winter. BIG BOAT (BAREBOAT) SKIPPER TRAINING

Navigation = 24 hours over 4 weekends, winter classroom only. CHARTWORK AND NAVIGATION.

Nautical Escapes is excited to offer The Start Keelboat Standard from Sail Canada. In one weekend we will show you how to sail by actually going sailing, for the whole weekend! What a concept! There is a textbook that comes with the course, but no exams, no memberships, and no pressure. By the end of the course you will be signed off on your Sail Canada Crew level (with a logbook), have a solid working knowledge of how to sail, and be a welcome crew member on any boat.

Basic Sailing - SKIPPER

This is the first step for anyone interested in becoming a boat owner or skipper. No experience is needed for this level and it's also well suited for those who have been away from the sport for a while. During the program you will learn about weather, chart reading, docking, knot tying, anchoring, emergency maneuvers, and of course sailing skills! All of our instructors have extensive training and experience. At Nautical Escapes we are always striving to improve our teaching methods so that you can have the most fun and rewarding experience as possible! We are also the only school that offers this program in a minimum of 32 hours! This extra time is vital to help you achieve the

On-water and in-class lessons, use of a PFD, textbook, Sail Canada logbook, logbook seal, Sail Canada exam.
